Ron Sexsmith won the Canadian Juno Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. He wrote “Gold In Them Hills” and recorded the song as a duet with Chris Martin of the group Coldplay. Sexsmith’s song “Secret Heart” was a mega hit for Fiest and also was recorded by Rod Stewart.
